Avatar: The Last Airbender creators tease "identical difficult" plans to amplify the universe
When the world needed Incarnation about, it vanished. But now the fan favorite full of life dealership is back – and has the potential to be big than ever ahead.
Incarnation: The Last Airbender creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko stimulate teased the sheer scope of the newly formed Avatar Studios on the Braving the Elements podcast (H/T ComicBook.com).
Konietzko told the hosts that the pair currently have a "very determined, multi-tiered" plan that will explore the "rich, mostly untapped history and tense in the Avatar Earth."
The plans for the Avatar population are so grand that DiMartino joked that there could be decades of stories ahead of us.
"We have all the ideas and ideally we're going to get to, over the years, explore wholly of them and gravel to lay down them, but information technology'll take approximately time. If we pull in each this stuff, you guys bequeath just be podcasting for about the future 20 years roughly," DiMartino aforesaid.
Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel series The Legend of Korra were hugely popular ventures on Nickelodeon and launched a multi-trillion dollar empire, though from each one mainline serial publication exclusive scratched the surface of a world dense with lore and untold histories. Now, there is serious support for the creators to achieve their vision.
But it's been a long road to nark this indicate. The original serial publication launched in 2005, piece a viable-action 2010 movie orientated by M. Night Shyamalan stumbled critically.
